The two views

View by window shows your tabs the way Chrome has them: in their windows, in their groups, in order. This is the default, and the one to use when you're rearranging.

View all puts every tab from every window into one grid, sorted by name, with the windows set aside. Use it when you know roughly what you're looking for and don't care where it lives.

In View all, each tab that belongs to a group carries its group's color along the top of its picture, and its name on a small label. There's a switch beside the tab count to show those names all the time or only when you point at a card.

One thing worth knowing: in View all, each tab keeps the place it was given when it arrived. Some pages rewrite their own titles — to catch your eye in the tab strip — and without this they'd wander around the grid. The order settles again next time you open or close something.
