Opening the grid

Three ways, and you'll settle on one.

Press ⌥⇧J on a Mac, or Alt+Shift+J on Windows, from anywhere in Chrome. This is the fastest way and the one most people end up using.

Click the Clearing button in Chrome's toolbar. If you can't see it, click the puzzle piece next to the address bar and pin Clearing to keep it visible.

Or open a new tab and click the Clearing icon, if you've set it as your new tab page.

Clearing opens in its own tab and stays there. Open it again and you'll come back to the same tab rather than getting a second one.
