Previews not loading

Clearing can only photograph a tab you've actually looked at. A tab restored from a previous session, or opened in the background and never visited, has nothing to photograph yet. Visit it once and the picture appears.

Some pages can't be photographed at all. Chrome's own pages — settings, downloads, extensions — are off limits to extensions, so Clearing shows a panel with the page's name instead. The same goes for other extensions' pages.

If a picture looks out of date, that's because it's from the last time you were on the tab. Visit it again and it updates.
