Our policy

If Clearing isn't what you expected, email support@getclearing.app within 14 days of buying and we'll refund you. You don't need to explain why, though we'd be glad to hear what went wrong.

Clearing runs unrestricted for seven days before anyone pays, so most people know whether they want it well before they buy. That's deliberate, and it's why we can offer a straightforward refund rather than a defensive one.

What happens to your license

When a refund goes through, the license it paid for stops being valid and Clearing returns to its unlicensed state on your machines.

Nothing you made is deleted. Your tabs, tab groups and their names belong to Chrome, not to Clearing, and they stay exactly as they are. You can install Clearing again later and buy a license if you change your mind.

Who charged you

Purchases of Clearing are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which is the merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy is legally the seller: it takes the payment, collects and remits any tax, and sends your receipt. Their name is what appears on your bank or card statement, usually shown as "Lemon Squeezy" or "LEMONSQUEEZY.COM" rather than Studio Luna or Clearing.

If you see a charge you don't recognize, that's most likely why.

Refunds are issued through Lemon Squeezy and typically take a few business days to reach your account, depending on your bank. As merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy may also issue a refund at its own discretion.

If something has gone wrong with a purchase, please email us before raising a dispute with your bank. A chargeback takes weeks and costs everyone involved; we can usually settle it quickly.

Studio Luna is a sole proprietorship. Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for purchases of Clearing.
